Mounted strength trial
Lifting a sheep from the ground at a gallop.
About
In the mounted test of strength the rider, at a gallop, has to lift a sheep from the ground and carry it a set distance. In some regions the game is called the "kid game".
In Central Asia — among the Turkmens, the Kazakhs and the Karakalpaks — there is a similar game: a galloping rider pulls up a ram or a goat half buried in the ground and carries it to a place fixed in advance.
